Merin Valley
Hidden Green
Merin Valley is a deep, broad valley in the interior of the Areian Peaks of Lhakamed, on the major continent of Ethae. The valley is a fertile area of an otherwise semi-arid region of the mountain range. The seasonal rains of Tobia's Gulf flow into the valley from the north as the valley extends through the mountains to the sea. No natural rivers pass through the found in the modern days, though evidence of ancient rivers can be seen in the valley central regions.
A quiet, idealistic region of the kingdom of Toemanshire and home to the town of Merrimar, Merin Valley has a long history of settlements, dating back to the prehistoric periods of history before the Black Collapse. It is a sacred valley for the Elf people and once home to one of their Ama Tree, Ama Merin, of which the valley gains its name.
