Valley of Ghawr

the Great Divide

The Valley of Ghawr, often called the Sun Valley, is a deep valley between the Mountains of Poho and the Mountains of Poe. The valley collects much of the rain runoff from the surrounding mountains. While much of this water collects and little more than muddy pools and streams, it slowly forms are river as it travels north out of the ranges. This water makes Ghawr an oasis in an otherwise arid rocky landscape.

Locals know the valley as the Great Divide. A difficult region to cross, Ghawr has steep rocky cliffs along most of its hundreds of miles, with few passes descending down into, and out of the valley.
