Mountains of Poho
Mountains of the Night Below
The Mountains of Poho is a mountain range in eastern Anbar, on the major continent of Ethae. The range stands to the northeast of Yaren Juhl and northwest of the Mountains of Poe. Throughout much of the prehistoric periods of world history, especially the Randagri Period, these mountains were buried under great glaciers. It is these slow-moving icy mountains that scholars believed cared the unique shape of this range, with its long valleys between mountains. These glaciers melted with the Gilgurth impact, draining out and creating Yaren Juhl.
The mountains are sometimes referred to as the Lonely Mountains. This is due to their remote location away from most modern civilizations. In antiquity these mountains and the Mountains of Poe were considered a single range under the name Poho, in modern world it has reversed to most cultures of the Craddle Valley considering the Poho's as an extension of the Poe mountains. The two ranges are divided by the Valley of Ghawr.
