Personal history
Arilian was born to Ander and Fayne Ellis in 1990, the youngest of six siblings. He was constantly trying to prove his worth by doing everything in his power to help his family and make himself useful. It paid off, as he became his mother's favorite and became known as "The nice one" and "The helpful one."
As he got older, he began to turn his desire to help toward his entire country. As he saw the Vollak begin to creep into Scythia and saw King Rayth doing nothing, Ari made a goal to volunteer for the army and help defend the country from the wolf-men, despite his mother's distaste for the military after it resulted in her husband's death. When it became clear that nothing more was being done toward the military's usefulness in 2009, Ari took action and joined the military alongside his brothers Alistair, August, and Avery.
When Rynn Aryon took charge of his battalion under the guise of Captain Aelgan Revine, Ari became a strong supporter of her as their missions aligned. Though they never grew super close, they kept in touch even after Rynn returned to her life as princess.
