Beadle
The position of beadle is a queer one. First of all, it is unique to halfling communities, which are themselves rarities. Second, it is a religious role, which halflings tend not to take too seriously. Finally, it is more of an administrative role with religious duties attached.
The role of the beadle is that of the community's religious manager, of sorts. He (or she) represents no particular deity in any official capacity; rather, she resolves disputes, collects tithes, supports each Vicar in their duties, and perhaps most importantly, sees to the maintenance of any religious structures in the community.
