Estra decides to tell her father Victor Gatrell she would like to fake her death and leave her family. Victor saddened by her decision but resigned tells her how the plan will go into action. After it is discussed the Six travel to Greywater & Ethios with the help of an old acquantaice.

Estra tells her father she does not think she could live the princess's life and so she does not put her family in danger she will fake her death, renounce her title and leave Astrafell. Lord Victor Gatrell says that in order for this to work no one should know of her death being faked. So he askes the Six if they trust anyone in the Aislinn Tower that might help them. Marwynn Fenwick, Ians Aunt is summoned to the tower to discuss what is to be done. The plan is agreed on to fake Estras death on one of the pully systems in the city. Then the pully lands in the water the body will be washed into the bay and never discovered. The party will leave as a decoy Estra will stay behind. After this meeting, Marwynn will use a scroll of "modify memory" to make Victor forget the ruse. So the Six and Marwynn will be the only people who know of the deception. Estra was given an Amulet of Proof against Detection and Location to hide her from being scryed on or being located. Estra thanks her Father for everything and with a tear in his eye says "I wish you would have wanted the stay" With tears in their eyes they embrace and Estra then turned into Ian Lightfoot and the Six then through a teleportation circle in the castle travel to the Aislynn Tower. Estra will now use the name "Caia"
