Report: Azerion, the Hand of Rot

Azerian was the Archdruid of a sub circle of The Circle of Spores near the Outbreak of the Purge War. He was known as the Archdruid of Rot or the Hand of Rot and he was renowned for defending Ancient forests and sites of Wild Magic. By all accounts he was a hero, though only to some.
When the Purge War began he began traveling with a group of individuals that became known as The Dark Pillars, with other Individuals in this group all becoming known throughout the World for both power and horrid acts. Two of his closest Allies were Caspian Arteran, The Master Magister and Zel Viendal, The Blackwall.
After Zel ascended to Godhood and adopted the name Bane Tyranus and Caspian was killed in an attempt to create a new Arcanist, it seems that Azerian grew unstable and he was seen in a Vision by the Lich God Vecna as the greatest threat the Planes would face in the coming centuries. Vecna attempted to remove him but both were left crippled from the encounter. Azerian was afflicted with a curse by Vecna while Vecna's soul began to rot, draining his power and stripping him of much of his magical ability.
Until recently it was assumed Azerian had perished from the Curse laid upon him.
