Caspian Arterian, Former High Magister of the Council of five, Wizard of the Dark Pillars, Best friend of the Druid Azerian and one of the most powerful wielders of magic before the start of the Purge War.
Caspian was a Prodigy among the ways of Magic. He was named a member of the Council of Five, the most powerful group of magic users in the old world at the age of 22. He was a member of the group known as The Dark Pillars at the age of 18, arguably the only true mortal to be a member, and was an astute student of the ways of the Arcane, as his surviving research notes built the basis for magical theory in the Modern Roseweald Academy.
Caspian met with the then young Assassin Messara when both he was only 17, and they began traveling together shortly afterward. He was fascinated by her Divine Power and often questioned her on how it felt and what she could do with it. His notes on the subject are some of the only records that have survived into the modern age. He and Messaria made a formidable duo but when they met the rest of the members to be of the Dark Pillars they truly became legendary. Five people stood against 200 and emerged hardly worse for wear.
