Sarissa, Angel of Light

The blessed Lady of Light, Sarissa is a Goddess of Life, Healing and of course, Light. Her origins were humble, a peasant girl who became a Cleric after her Mother and Father fell ill and succumbed to plague. She became a renowned healer and was viewed as a savior of the common peasants and soldiers. When her kingdom went to war she took to the battlefield to save those she could. During the battle she found herself standing in an unfamiliar place and overflowing with power. When she reopened her eyes the battle had gone quiet and all eyes were on her. She was a glowing Angelic figure towering over the men and women on the field, they had all ceased fighting and were watching her. She ignored them and began using her power to heal those still alive and revive the fallen, regardless of which side they were on. She did not realize what she had become until after the battle was declared over and her lord told her. From then on Sarissa dedicated herself to protecting people. When the Purge War began she, along with Foros and Kothan, defended groups of people from the rest of the rampant gods. By the end of the War she was a goddess of Battle as well, though she had amassed a following who embodied her ideals of Light and Life. She is one of the only gods to have the endorsement of the Celestials that came before, that is Angels willingly serve her and tend to her domain. When the Imperium's Civil War began she sided with Saalima and took to the battlefield herself, in spite of the risks with the Golden Concord.
