The Maelstrom
If you end up in the Maelstrom, you're either insane or you did something to piss off two gods. Either way your doomed to drown, might as well get it over with.
The Divine Realm of Nalian Mar Cesier and Gattaxus. It is an endless Storm raging over an endless Ocean filled with the monstrous creations of Gattaxus. The goal of the most devout followers of the Church of Rebirth is to be transformed by Lord Gattaxus and dwell within the Malestrom.
Geography
The Maelstrom is a seemingly endless Ocean with a storm raging above it in perpetuity. The Plane is used as a punishment by the Gods who rule it, sending those who displease them to the highest degree there to suffer and perish beneath the waves. Those who die here are remade by Gattaxus into his monstrous creations.
Climate
The Temperature can vary wildly in this realm from a Tropical Storm to an Oceanic Blizzard.
Fauna & Flora
The creatures here all dwell beneath the waves and are the monstrous creations of Gattaxus. This Plane is also home to Krakens and Aboleths who have found their way here either by intention or the grace of the Gods who rule it.
