Personal history
Yin Lian's Ascension was a manipulation of the highest degree. A move by the Abyssal God Mazerath to remove the Shadow Tyrant from interfering in his schemes. When Klexia Andronas consumed one of the Banished Gods and disrupted their collective, Mazerath siphoned another of their ranks and forced its power into Yin's body, the power forcing her to either perish or ascend. The Pirate chose Ascension over death and her transformation left the Shadow Tyrant too injured to continue to clash with her.
With her chief rival temporarily incapacitated, Yin led the Pirates of the Sunfire against the Imperial War Machine, using her newfound Divinity to control the Seas and give her people the advantage. She led the Pirates as far as Atalanta before she was forced to return to her own Divine Realm by the powers of Trevana and Kothan of the Imperial Pantheon. She could do naught more than watch as her people laid siege to the Port and continued to fight against the Empire.
Following the Death of Emperor Autrion she took a much more passive stance on intervention, usually bestowing boons or offering guidance rather than directly intervening. She clashes regularly with the Shadow Tyrant in their shared domain but can frequently be found disguised on young Captain's ships in the Sunfire, usually as a deckhand or powder monkey. For those captains able to pick her out she will bestow maps to hidden treasures or bless their ships. She enjoys seeing the Sailors exploring and sailing for new horizons and those who interfere with her chosen will face her wrath.
She is primarily worshipped in the Sunfire Archipelago, though she has a smaller but still signifigant following within New Tian Xia.

Accomplishments & Achievements
During her time as a mortal Yin was among the greatest duelists in the world. Following her Ascension she has become even more proficient with her blades and pistols, able to keep pace with the Orcish God Malgeron in a fight that lasted a week. The bout only ended due to the two nearly exhausting their divine powers.
Reign
When Yin Ascended it left a power Vacumn within Queen's Port. While Yin still had some control within the City she could not govern as she once had and instead the Captains bickered and fought among themselves. It was eventually decided that a Council of Captains would take Yin's place as the Leadership of the Sunfire. They established a code of laws before sailing for different horizons. The code holds to this day, with the Sunfire now acting as a collection of nations and a massive trading force within the world. Where once there was nothing but empty shorelines, there are now small ports and shipyards all with their own leaders acting under supervision of the Captains of the Council and Yin looking down on them.
Relationships
Wealth & Financial state
Yin was forced to leave behind her ship when she Ascended, the Salty Princess sailed for near a century before she found a new captain, but she made a likeness of the Grand Ship within her divine realm, an extension of her will that mirrors the Shadow Tyrant. Within the decks of this ship, The Storm Queen, lies untold amounts of Wealth, offered to her by her followers in exchange for safe travels or out of respect for the Pirate Queen.
