Broken Desert

The Broken Desert is a massive desert at the center of Azmera. It is called the Broken Desert because of the massive chasm at its heart. The chasm spans for miles and it is a belief of the locals that the depths of the chasm go all the way to The Abyss itself. Despite being a massive scorching desert, it is teeming with all sorts of life. There are even several oases that can be found scattered throughout the desert. During the Silent Age, the desert became a hideout for magic users and intelligent monsters looking to avoid the Purifying Blade.
