Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Akhfester was a very tall and strong man. He was muscular and athletically built, being extremely agile. He never showed any signs of old age because of his sorcerer blood.

Body Features

After being killed by Oliver, Akhfester got a new advanced prosthetic from Alkeeth Folle. The prosthetic was specialized for assassins, beign able to inject poisons through its claws. The arm was later and made into a new prosthetic by Belorin.

Facial Features

Akhfester had a strong and defined face with black freckles. He had many scars on his face, including a big scar over his throat where it was cut by Oliver Reyes.

Special abilities

Along with being a great swordsman, Akhfester was a relatively powerful sorcerer. He used most of his magic for defense or utility, but had some powerful offensive spells to catch people off guard.

Apparel & Accessories

Akhfester wore a very impressive and well made set of leather armor. It was black and red in coloration. He never wore any shoes.

Specialized Equipment

Akhfester was a great duelist and blademaster, prefering to use a scimitar known as the Blade of the Desert Spellsword. He could wield any bladed weapon with great skill.

Personal history

Akhfester Venom was an incredibly skilled and renowned assassin from Mahlarenia who would gain all his fame through the assassin order known as the Serpent's Blades. He was made part of the order as a young child and had no life outside what the order allowed him. Little is known of his younger years within the order, but once he had become a fully fleshed member of the order, his name would be known to Mar'Dahar. Akhfester was not only a great blademaster, but he was a powerful sorcerer who used his innate magic to increase his fighting potential and catch his enemies off guard. This also made him age at a slower rate which made him a lethal assassin who never dwindled in strength or agility even in his late fifties.
Akhfester would go on a mission to Tyrania on behalf of prince Harast Arq-Hazrel, the heir to King Marceen Arq’Hazrel. The prince was jealous of a wedding between king Lawrence LiLockhart's daughter Marcella Lockhart and a merchant prince in Daharia. He wanted the nations to not grow so close, and he was jealous that his father's proposal for Marcella was rejected. The mission Akhfester was sent on was to kill Marcella and King Lawrence to sabotage the arrangement, a mission he put out behind his father's back. Akhfester and a handful of serpent blades would follow him to Tyrania where they would find Marcella on the road and ambush her, but she was protected by a group of adventurers who would best him. He was killed by Oliver Reyes who slit his throat, after having lost his arm to Yaxora Tayker.
This would not be the end for Akhfester, as his order had access to a magical item known as resurrection stones which allowed its user to be brought back to life as long as the damage done to them was not too great. Akhfester crawled out from the battlefield where he had passed and went into hiding for the next few years. He would scheme against the adventurers and the kingdom until he was met by another who had grievance with them, Clad Silvarno. The former criminal leader had been brought back to life in an unknown way and he would go on to team up with Akhfester to gain revenge. They worked together and stole resources from The Poet and used the exiled Mahlarans from Evlora as slave labor and soldiers to take over the town of Amberslide which they managed to keep a secret for months. There they were ambushed by the adventurers before finalizing their plan of bombing The Bronze Castle from the inside during a council meeting. Clad was killed by Illidan Windsor for a second time and Akhfester and his remaining serpents surrendered and were brought back to Evlora to be executed.
