The Library

Design

The library is a massive room with almost endless rows of books and tomes. The walls of the library are made from a beautiful light gray stone bricks that has decorations carved in. The ceiling, floor and bookcases are made from a dark brown wood, and combined with eternal burning lanterns in the library gives a comfortable and almost cozy feeling to the entire room.

Entries

There are three arches in the room, two normal and one special which is made from gold instead of marble. The special arch in the library goes into the newest part and expansion to the Tower of Wonder known as the Inner Sanctum, the Inner Sanctum is made up from some old and new rooms which are all either extremely important or personal for Traberion. The golden arch has three slots around it which requires three activation orbs to open which are spread across the Tower of Wonder.

Valuables

The books in the bookshelves vary from personal journals of those who have fallen in the Tower of Wonder to magical tomes that contain spells or other magical abilities. A few tomes that increases the readers abilities are also stored within the library.

Hazards & Traps

Each and every book within the library are chained and locked to the bookshelf with a dark iron chain that have been magically enhanced through the arcane lock spell. Accessing the books are extremely hard because of this and any who fails to open a chain lock attracts the Arcane Guardians to their location. The book is also magically transported to a random location on the astral plane for 24 hours after failing to open a lock.
