Personal history
Thomas Darcroix Silvermist was born to a lesser noble family known as the Darcoix who were known for their military exploits and loyalty to the Trugarian Empire. The family is also connected to the deity Helm and are known worshipers of him. Their coat of arms even has his helmet as a setting sun over a green field. Thomas was the second born son to his parents and was trained to become a knight for the emperor. He recieved personal training from Sir Robert Gormont who was a retired champion of the church of Helm. When he came of age he would be knighted by Thyris and be made part of his personal knights known as the Horns of the Empire. He served the emperor well until the Crimson Baptism in A4 630 when he was slaughtered alongside most of his family. He had failed his liege, but managed to save a young woman who had been shot by a poisoned bolt. It was a fast acting poison which would have killed her if he had not amputated her arm as fast as he did. The woman he saved was Xaverine Silvermist the heir to the Montlet Coast. They became close after the slaughter and would often confide in eachother. After a few years, they married and he would leave the knight order as the new emperor Zarichar gave him permission to retire early. The two would rule the Montlet Coast and have five children during their lives.
