Personal history
Xaverine Silvermist was the second born child to her parents Mont Veronica and Nathaniel, being born only a year after her older brother Andreas. She also had a younger sister two years later. Xaverine's childhood was filled with riches, servants and whatever else she wanted. She was born to the Mont of the Montlet Coast, which was a title often seen as grander than king or queen. She and her siblings got very close and would all go to a private school in Fangorn together. Xaverine studied diplomacy, etiquette and was taught social engineering by her mother who was a very talented social woman. Xaverina was recognized early for her exceptional mind and charisma, to such a degree that Empress Laurica appointed her to be her lady-in-waiting when she was 20 years old. She continued to serve as the empress' lady-in-waiting for seven years, she became quite liked at court and was often allowed to attend council meetings at the imperial court.
In A4 630 on the 23rd of Xhanathir a tragedy would hit the entire Trugarian Empire. The slaughter known as the Crimson Baptism would take place and emperor Thyris Trugar and most of his close family would be assassinated by unknown assassins. Among the emperor and his family, many noble people would be killed as well, including Mortimer Lockhart, Haylynn Whitehall, Merwin Whitehall, Quinn Stoneshire and Xaverine's parents and older brother Andreas. Xaverine herself was hit in the arm by a crossbow bolt, luckily Thomas Darcroix a knight of Helm recognized the quick acting poison which coated the bolt. She had little time to act and amputated Xaverine's arm but a few seconds after the injury, saving her life. The slaughter would shake the entire continent and Xaverine would never truly recover from the horror.
Xaverine would be crowned the Mont of the Montlet Coast in the following year and she would come to rule it. Her reign of the coast would come with many challenges, but she managed most of them herself and showed great control doing so. Xaverine had been much present in the new emperor Zarichar's life as she spent seven years with his mother. This connection would give her a great position in his court and she would become one of his most trusted advisors. She was so needed by Zarichar in the capital that she had to permanently move to Fangorn, ruling the coast from the capital through the lesser families. Xaverine would marry her savior Thomas Darcroix only a few years after the Crimson Baptism and they would have five children together.
