The day half of earth shrunk.

What originally was praised as nothing more than the savior of mankind, was then turned into a near world-ending demon, after just one moment of carelessness.
As on a fateful day in April 2137, the size altering machine mysteriously sent out a global wave of radiation, set on the experimental dataset of humankind itself, which caused half of earth's population to shrink down to around 5 to 10 centimeters tall.
And spread chaos and destruction, as well as the panic and despair of countless now missing people, all over the world.
