How equality began to die.

Shortly after being elected to represent the shrunken world population, the first official act of the new cast of normal-sized politicians, was to work on a reform of the human status and rights for their miniature people.
“The Shrunken Reform”.
Which at a first glance appeared to be nothing more than just a name change for resized individuals, renaming anyone who now stands at a height below 20 centimeters, from humans to Shrunkens.
Whilst also offering those who are mentally no longer able to continue living at their tiny size a unique government deal. In which they first invest anything they own into special funds, to then passively generate money for their bereaved loved ones, before receiving a deadly injection to end their suffering.
