I suppose he was good for the seasonings... a bit of an emphasis on wholesome warmth as opposed to an actually healthy meal, but I can't fault his desire to find flavour.

Delthea is a High Elf former aspirant of the Monastery of Flowers and a master of the way of the Open Hand technique, taught by Long-Stride. It was during this time that Delthea met the monk known as 'Rook' though did not think much of the Firbolg until they began working together in the kitchens of the monastery and bonded through their love of cooking.
Since then, Delthea is viewed as a senior adherent of the school of open hand as well as giving instruction in the methods and 'way' that healing can be used in the way of the open hand, however, she allegedly refused to take on the role of instructing the way of the Open Hand after Long-stride's death... instead devoting herself to becoming the head chef of the Monastery with her emphasis on healthy and nutritional food for monks.
Upon learning about Elder Caste dropping her control over the monastery, Delthea decided to travel with, and protect 25 aspirant monks and ensure they were given safety before starting her own adventure in Alturis, the last Persicorum heard, she was making her way to The Monkey's Paw in Aria after Kodo recommend she find and receive help from Aeleith.
