Lord Reginald Blackthorne is a black haired and dark eyed half-Elf noble residing in Blackstone. He is the head of the old money Blackthorne family who found their fortune in factory work and political liaisons, in recent years the family's influence in Blackstone has slowed, with less expansioj due to the election of Sindarae Pollet and the rise of Xan Prayerkeep removing noble influence. 
However, many either see it as a move of intellect and savvy or young naivety that for his part, Reginald Blackthorne has built a rather healthy and friendly relationship with Xan and this has recently led to him temporarily taking over as the editor in chief of the Silver Sparrow newspaper, replacing Reporter Kovir who has recently been removed with sickness.
When the party interacted with Blackthorne they originally found him to be an arrogant and aggressive noble only to then meet him mere moments later and find him to be a nervous and skittish noble clearly out of depth, revealing the fact that someone had been coming into the agency under the guise of Blackthorne and completing editor duties including encouraging reporters to more aggressively report on controversial figures and political rivals to Xan.
