Warlington
If Blackrock give technology, King's Bay give culture and Eastbourne gift weapons of war then Warlington's gift to the war efforts of the elected crown is men. They train them here, close to the frozen wastes of the Mammoth Peaks and they become true warriors. Not your standard Crownsguard. No, they become ruthless warriors in the war and organised too. I'm willing to bet an Inquisitor himself would even struggle in an even match with a true soldier from Warlington.Warlington is named that way for a reason. Perhaps their people never had a choice being so far North but the icy tundras and regular turns in weather have shaped them into a hardy folk who recognise the need for toughness in all things, despise the 'softness' of magic and are organised into a sharp and lethal fighting force for the Elected Crown. Those that do not become elite Crownsguard become protectors of their home or incredibly desirable mercenaries. Their political movements, trade with other towns, inventing of the arcane cannons and skilled miners and smiths led to this town accruing wealth and, while many become adventurers, they all eventually return home as wealthy warriors and barons or for their burial. Due to this success and power Warlington were invited to become part of the Elected Crown after the Protection Act was passed in order to ensure them being allied to the rest of Alturis in the coming civil unrest.

Government
Ruled by Grahm Do'rhus. A Warforged rumoured to have been modelled on the original Proto though they removed his humour sensors. He is a skilled general and has experienced so many modifications that he is a terror on the battlefield.
His advisor is ArchMagus Dwendoline a Drow sorcerer who plane shifted and accidentally missed the time of the Dread King.
He also has the legendary 'Canoneer' as his personal engineer.
Defences
Warlington's people are it's defence as everyone; man, woman and child is a trained warrior and a terrifying force on the battlefield. Many don't bother attacking Warlington for that reason alone. The monsters that do assault the town are often placed on the palisade and pikes, on display for those that walk past the town.
Infrastructure
The city possesses a skyport and a small airship fleet though are lacking in walled defences. Sewers run close to the surface and are in fact so hot on the surface that snow melts the moment it hits the ground and the steam is collected in a series of 'collecting crystals' and used to generate magical energy for Warlington and Krueler.
Assets
Warlington are a fairly wealthy town but hold most of that wealth in the form of weapons, armour and basic supplies. They do not have luxuries in truth apart from the hard, bitter ales that the place is known for and it's monster furs. Much of this is due to Warlington's leader being modeled on Proto's desire to train and face bigger and more dangerous threats and so Grahm focuses on hardy living and toughness.
Guilds and Factions
The Hunter's order have taken many members from Warlington over the years due to their skill in combat.
The Crownsguard and inquisitors also have large numbers from Warlington.
History
Warlington was founded by the Cannoneer when the Dread King fell. He wished to return home, but the mountains were treacherous, and so he was left finding the ruins of a village. There, the cannoneer followed his own inspirations and built a companion for himself. Channeling his desire for perfection and the effect that Proto had on his work. The cannoneer built Grahm to be a combat warforged, a creature that would always seek more and more power and potential whilst also programming them to be an incredible leader of men in the theatre of war.
Soon after, individuals began to visit the town of Warlington and it has slowly built up over the last 75 years to become a base for training, combat prowess and warriors to be born.
Though it is often accused of being nothing more than Grahm's passion project to find able warriors and competition the base of Warlington has furnished a reputation for itself of being a warrior's land.
Architecture
The architecture of Warlington is simple and functional, making use of thatch, regular bonfires for warmth and stone walls with animal fur for insulation. It can occasionally look savage or primitive, but the architecture for Warlington is built on functionality and survival.
