Haru Ai was the operations manager for Lääkärin within the Theta Diocese within Neo Caladrius. His direct superior was Asser Yrjölä. Haru and Okubo Ai, were the survivors of a fatal crash in 539 A.I. that killed his mother, Mecatl Ai and sister, Sasori Ai. While Haru was left with only minor injuries, Okubo was left in a vegetative state, with his body being kept alive through the usage of T.L.C.. Following this crash, Haru strived to earn enough money to afford Apoteosi for his father. He would quickly start working at Lääkärin as a sales representative,and thanks to his unscrupulous techniques and high sales, he rose through the ranks to operations manager for the Theta Diocese. Asser Yrjölä would eventually recruit him into the Porcelain Project, where he would be paid a large amount of money to distribute highly illicit drugs to gangs within the Theta Diocese. After meeting with the Geomi Gang, he would be killed under suspicious circumstances.
