The Nation of Zaun

Zaun is a settlement that has the richest soil for agriculture as well as constant warm weather. Thus, Zaun controls most of the crops and livestock of Gametia. Among the royalties in Azzura, the House of Goran was chosen to lead the new nation of Zaun. Though its importance of supplying food and rations to the rest of the continent, Azzura artificially raised taxes on Zaun's citizens with the goal of attempting full control of its business. This caused the rising tensions between the two nations and sparked civil unrest called The Grain Wars. Attacks on its shipment line caused Mal'qurel to suffer for years, until it gained power through its control over Shine.
