Half-elves are genetically stable, and thus breed true. That is, regardless of whether they breed with an elf, a human, or another half-elf, their offspring will be a half-elf.

Half-elves mature at around twenty years, and can produce offspring any time thereafter, though the prime childbearing age range for females tends to be be from about 40 to 120 years of age. They will usually die at 180 years of age or after.
