Spelltouched Duelist

The archetypal spelltouched duelist wields both might and magic in one hand, their weaponry and their magic mixing into one combination. While saying that they are spellcasters would over exaggerate their talents for the arcane, they are adept enough to know explicitly how to counter spellcasters and other magical effects.

Sword Magic

Beginning when you choose this archetype, at 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast Jinxes in a special way, through your weapon.   You learn three Jinxes  from the Sage spell list, all of which must either require a weapon attack, spell attack, or saving throw. You learn an additional Jinxes at 7th, 10th, and 15th levels. When you cast one of the Jinxes through your Sword Magic feature, you make a weapon attack instead of the spell attack. If the Jinx requires an attack roll and hits, the creature takes damage from both your weapon attack and the cantrip, as well as any additional effects, such as doubling the damage dice if the weapon attack was a critical hit. If the Jinx requires a saving throw and hits, the creature takes damage from your weapon attack and has disadvantage on its saving throw.   The Jinx and the weapon attack do not need to both be the same range, such as fire bolt being cast from a longsword, or shocking grasp being cast from a longbow. Your spellcasting ability for these spells is your Intelligence modifier.   Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier

War Magic

Starting at 7th level, when you use your action to cast a cantrip through your Sword Magic feature, you may make one weapon attack, as a bonus action.

Magic Armor

At 10th level, the damaging energy from your sword magic wraps around you, like a shroud, defending you. When you use your action to cast a cantrip through Sword Magic, you gain resistance to the same damage type of the cantrip until the start of your next turn.

Anti-Magic

By 15th level, you are adept in magic enough to know how to dodge it and protect against it efficiently. You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Phantom Magic

Beginning at 18th level, the magic from your sword can quickly conjure itself up faster than other casters would be able to. When you use your bonus action to make a weapon attack from your War Magic feature, the bonus action attack is affected by your Sword Magic feature.
