Mall 3} Lutonk, Cassus, and Luna

Lutonk yawned widely and rubbed one of his eyes. He was getting tired, which was never good. He didn't trust himself to nap right then, (though that bush did look very inviting,) and so he hobbled into the mall and rolled towards the coffee shop. Not watching where he was rolling, he collided with a troll who had been storming towards the exit. They both ended up on the ground.
"(OOf) O~O", he groaned, sliding across the floor from the collision, "(sOrry) OnO"

The troll wiped her teary eye with a sleeve and stood up.
"W8tch where you're g8ing, fre8k!!!!!!!!" she hissed, before angrily darting out of the mall.

Lutonk sat up and re-wrapped his blanket around himself, scratching under an ear. He wished that everyone could just roll around instead; life would be so much easier. He continued his tumbling trek to the coffee shop, and looked up at the cashier wide-eyed.
"(hOi cassOs) OuO"

Cassus took a second to look away from the table and at Lutonk. He usually isn't phased by drama or anything, but that spectacle he just witness still had him cringing. God, how can someone be so painfully oblivious? He mentally shook the thoughts off and put on a gentle smile for his acquaintance. "hello, lutonk." chirrp. "what can i get forr you today?"[/container]

Luna was sitting in the food chort leaning back in her chair. She was staring at her phone tired and she groaned. She was here for one reason and for one reason only to pass time. She had a shift later that she was not looking forward to and she wanted to maybe do something before hand. Unfortunately for her this outing to the mall was just plain boring.

Lutonk shifted around and snuggled in his blanket, tilting his head slightly.
"(sOmething strOng with lOts Of circOls maybe) OvO"
He always made really vague orders like this. He wasn't very picky, it would seem.
"(Oh and a cOOkie pleOse) OwO"

Cassus chuckled softly and nodded. He expected the same vague answer. Lutonk's love (obsession?) for circles is always interesting and entertaining to witness. He began doing the best that he could for Lutonk's order. Another plus is that Cassus to use his own creativity for these orders. After a little of working around the small shop, he grabbed the most CIRCOL like cookie and gave Lutonk his request. The espresso Cassus made had a circle in the middle drawn in foam. "latte arrt isz sztill rrelatively new to me. feel frree to tell me if you are unhappy."[/container]

Luna rubbed her eyes and stood up. Ugh why was she so tired. She cracked her back and rubbed her eyes before scanning the area. She doubted their were any monsters being sold in the mall as there wasn't really any convenience stores in here. She did see a coffee place and decided fuck it why not. Luna wasn't really the biggest fan of coffee but she needed fuel if she was going to make it to tonight. She slowly walked over to the coffee shop when she noticed Lutonk. She stood there and looked at him for a couple seconds before turing her eyes to the barista. She stood a couple feet behind Lutonk waiting to make sure he was finished.

Lutonk reached up to take the coffee and the cookie. For a few silent seconds, he stared down into the coffee.
"(Oh mOi gOd) O^O", he looked up at Cassus, "(Oi lOve it OhOhOhO yOs thOnk yOu) OvO"
He bounced happily and gave the cookie a ᵗᶦⁿʸ lick, before turning around and almost shuffling straight into Luna. He looked up at the giraffe lady with wide eyes.
"(Oh, hOi) O=O"

Luna looked down at him and blinked. "Oh hey there uh sorry if I was in your way or something??" She stepped away from him to give him some room "And uh hoi" she chuckled and shrugged. Stoner lady was still nice even when not given her substance of choice.

Cassus stared at Luna. Like, full on stare. Unyielding cold glare. He isn't trying to creep her out or silently declare war. He just doesn't remember seeing Luna before, and is planning to learn her. Also, his stare naturally looks to be filled with malicious intent. It's a curse and a blessing. Curse that sometimes people get scared of him, and blessing that sometimes people get scared of him. He lets out a small chirrp while lost in thought.[/container]

"(nO, Oi wOs jOst wOddling Over heOr) OvO"
Lutonk shuffled past Luna and climbed up into a seat, pulling his knees up to his chest and holding his coffee next to his mouth--without actually sipping it--and blankly stared off into space. What a weirdo.

Luna watched him for a second before walking over to the counter. She noticed the look Cassus was giving her and got a little nervous. "I um are you......Did I do something?" She blinked and rubbed her arm. Man today was gonna be a weird day wasn't it.

Cassus stops thinking and gets a little surprised. Aw, damn, how was he looking at her? He quickly puts on a smile, shaking his head. "no, no. szorrrry. i szpaced out a little. would you like anything?"[/container]

"Oh oh okay lol" Yes she actually said lol out loud because that's just her being herself. She took a glance on the menu. "Just a coffee with like two spoons of sugar please? is that how you order it, man sorry if that;s stupid as hell I just don't drink coffee"

"don't worrrry, you'rre fine." She's more specific about her order, but not even by much. He doesn't mind, though. "how sztrrong do you want it? do you have a prreferrence?"[/container]

She shook her head, "I'll drink it even if I don't like it, plus I want the enegry not the taste so it's whateves" She got her wallet out.

Lutonk suddenly chugged the espresso in one gulp, making an 'ahh' sound.
"(nOice) OvO" he said, and tilted his head to look at Cassus idly.

Cassus meets Lutonk's eyes and chuckles before turning back to Luna. "i undersztand. give me a bit." He gets busy with the order as with Lutonk's, focusing only on the coffee. He is weirdly good at this. A calm job for a calm person. He turns back to Luna with her drink, a light roast with sugar. "if you arre diszpleaszed, i will make another."[/container]

"Nah dude I'm sure it'll be great" She took it "How much is it though, or is it on the house?" she joked chuckling to her self at her stupid joke that was barely a joke.

"well, i creeped you out a little earrlierr, didn't i? you can have it frree asz an apology." Cassus felt okay to do this. He stared at a customer like a weirdo. Besides, those coffee beans weren't that much.

Luna shook her head "Aw dude no, it was a joke. and uh maybe a little creepy but i stare off into space like alllll the time so I get it." She shrugged "So how much is it?"

He smiles at the politeness. He can tell it would be better to give in, if not lowering the prices anyways. He chirrps. "my, how kind. we need morre people like you in the worrld, miszsz. five (currency) then."[/container]

She handed him the money and put her wallet away. She snickered softly "ha no we dont" she joked and took a sip of the coffee. She cringed at the taste. Yuck she missed her horrible heat attack inducing beverage. "Thanks for the coffee though" she turned around and walked back to her seat giving Lutonk a wave as she passed.

Cassus' smile faded after she walked away. He looked at the time. His shift was only for a little more. What would he do after? Quietly sitting at home is awful. But sometimes he doesn't even have a choice. Maybe go somewhere? He heard there was a carnival with a fighting ring in the city. That would be fun to investigate. He has the energy to go explore, anyways. His intense lost in thought glare was pointed towards the table this time.[/container]

Luna sat down at her and looked at her phone. She smiled and snorted becuase it was Clem. She texted her for a bit before she signed off. Then she realized that Clem didnt tell her who she saw. She facepalmed "Fuck!'
