[/container] Karkat is an incessantly furious mediator who somehow always finds himself at the centre of attention. He is loud and commanding, making him seem cold and uncaring to those he shouts at, (which is everyone,) but underneath, he is a deeply emotional troll who cares for those around him.

Personal history

Karkat was something of an oddball growing up. Being a mutant, he found himself not fitting in with the society around him, and spent his days indoors, avoiding physical interactions. He spent a lot of time on his computer, making a bunch of mostly non-sociopathic friends, and learning how to code, (even though he's notoriously awful at it.) When Karkat was 6 sweeps old, he played a game called SGRUB with his friends, which tore apart their home planet and brought them to Amalgama. In his younger years, Karkat dreamt of joining the ranks of the threshecutioners, but this dream has partially fizzled out in recent years.

Karkat has the special ability to angrily ramble on about utterly asinine subjects for hours on end. He's good with a sickle, and can sorta code. He's surprisingly good at offering relationship advice.

Karkat wants to find himself and his purpose, and dreams of being someone who people look up to and respect. He doesn't know how to accomplish that, though.
