Streets 7} Versie and Vicden

Versie played by Halfheart, Vicden played by Kiwi

Versie would be walking down the street, keeping their eyes low, making sure to stay out of the way. They needed to buy groceries, and some new supplies, and they weren't happy about it. They were pretty close to panicking by now, but they had to power through it. They just... kept walking. Not really paying attention to anything but their goal.[/container]

Vicden was sitting on a box on the sidewalk, it probobly wasnt his best decision but most every other place was crowded that night. He had his violin case placed beside him and his actual Violin under his chin. He smiled and started to play somthing, the music was calm and pretty, kind of reminiscent of how you feel when looking at beautiful scenery.

The music caught the nervous blueblood's ear, and they stopped for a moment, still looking down. It was sort of something they always did when they heard music that didn't outright overwhelm them. For once they looked calm as they listened to the sounds of the violin.[/container]

Vicden played for a couple of minuets before his song ended. He set his violin on his lap and hummed, "doot doot, I should defienetly put that on the list." He grabbed a sheet of paper and set the instrument back under his chin.

Versie looked up. They didn't like talking to other people, usually, but such a beautiful peice must be complimented. They took some time before they spoke. ".......................I must say, you're rather skilled."[/container]

Vicden jumped a bit and looked at Versie. He really didn't notice that another troll had been watching him and he set his violin back on his lap. "Di Di do, o-oh well thank you, sorry I didn't see you there," Vicden gave the indigo a smile and sat up a little straighter.

They nodded. "...............Oh. my sincerest apologies for scaring you. I have a tendency to get quiet...." they said calmly. ".............Where did you learn to play?"[/container]

Vicden smiled and hummed "doot doot, well I sort of, taught myself. I didn't have anywhere around that taught music. At least I don't think I did, I had some help from the internet though," He chuckled softly

"...................Well, I must admit, you're extremely talented. My name is Versie. Versie Exalya, at your service. I'm not sure that we've met before." They said hesitantly. Versie was somewhat well known in the classical music scene, but they rarely ever showed their face.[/container]

Vicden held his hand out "Oh I'm Vicden Olstus doot, I don't know if I recognize you well no, maybe we've met. I'm bad at names faces and putting the two together, heh sorry" He held a smile but it was awkward, than something it him "no wait! I recognize your name, you are a musician to aren't you,"

They nodded. "........It's good to meet you, Vicden." They gave a small smile. "........Yes, I am a musician. I release compositions occasionally and I play a.... variety of instruments." They said calmly. "..........I recently performed at the nearby theatre, if you were there as well." The blueblood said, not making eye contact. They seemed rather nervous while they were speaking to Vicden.[/container]

Vicden put his hand back to his lap when it wasn't shook. "nice to meed you as well, but i don't believe I was there, or maybe I was, this week has been a bit crazy," With all of his time as Melati, he sort of forgot what he did as who. "I am sure you are a great musiciaan though, and I love meeting others with the same spark, doot!"

They looked a little nervous still. "..........Of course it is. I don't meet all too many musicians outside of the theatre.. then again I don't meet people often. Do you play any other instruments than the violin?" They asked. They seemed to be genuinely curious about the other's work.[/container]

Vicden chuckled softly and leaned his head to the side, "Oh well, play a lot of things, my main ones are piano, viola, chello and bass, I also play the harp sometimes, axilurry percussion, clarinet is my favortie wind, I play a lot di di!" He smiled and tried to recal all the instruments he knew how to play.

they nodded. ".................Interesting. I play the violin, piano.... harp, organ and flute." They counted them out on their hands. ".......Organ is by far my favorite."[/container]

Vicden tried not to cringe at the flute bit, it's not that he had anything against flute players but, he just couldn't master it so it left a bit of a sour taste. "Organ is a pretty interesting instrument doot di. It's lovely to listen to, especially in a concert hall." Vicden giggled softly, It had been a while since he'd met a new musician he could talk to.

They nodded. "..............I know. I love playing it... it involves a lot of synchronization and it's a rather powerful thing. I heard of an organ in a human cathedral that was actually built into the building. It was so large it could be heard even from the outskirts of the town it was in."[/container]

"doot doot do, wow that really is somthing isn't it," Vicden nodded and laid his violin over his lap. "I mean I'm ususally moved by music but theres a certain feeling I think the genre of music played on the organ that kind of hits me you know, but very talented to master that!"

"..............................It was actually the first instrument I've ever played." They said with a smile. ".............And many songs on the organ are specifically chosen to be instruments of religion, often used in orchestras... etcetera. Though I've noticed some small differences between classical music on alternia and on earth..."[/container]

Vicden nodded attentively, "well um, I never lived on Alternia, but I know music on Beforus is a lot different than earth music. I enjoy it all though, I've met some talented humans as well,"

they smiled. ".............You're from beforus, yes? How interesting. I don't know much about beforus, to be perfectly honest. Then again, I still don't know much about my own home planet."[/container]

Vicden chuckled quietly, "Well I liked it on beforus, it was, nicer there than it is here. But I like my new planet too, I love all of the new and interesting people I get to meet, and all of the stories I get to hear,"

".............It was.. nicer....? I was under the pretense it was near the same as alternia." They said. ".........alternia was horrid. It was... rather terrible, I must admit." The Blueblood commented, thinking back on what they had to expect on alternia when they were older, and the... incidents.. that had happened before.[/container]

Vicden tapped his foot and shrugged, "I don't really know, but I mean I know it was a lot less cut throat as Alternia," Vicden stood up, really wanting to change the subject now, "Oh so um doot, would you like to maybe get some food and talk more, I am getting kind of hungry,"

They nodded. "........Oh, sure.. Where would you like to eat.....?" They asked, tilting their head. They were beginning to worry, so food would be a good way to get their mind off of it.[/container]

"I know this nice resturant near here, it has pretty much everything doot," Vicden put his violin back in the case and picked it up, "I'm sure we cold both find something there"

Versie nodded. ".......That'd be nice. I haven't been to many places around here before." They said. They were still a little anxious to be around other people, but they were beginning to calm down.[/container]

Vicden nodded, "Okay Doot doot! I'll show you the way," he started walking down the sidewalk and he made his way to a nice looking building. When he walked inside there weren't too many people and it also was pretty quiet.
