The Northwoods

The precise location of where the Northwoods begin and end is the topic of debate among many researchers of Amaltheon, but the general consensus dictates that it begins just below the Glimmering Grotto, stretches down along the western mountains, stops its eastern expanse at the rivers to the west of the Vandorenial Forest, and stops just shy of Oakenfield. Regardless, many hunters make their living in these woods, hunting for rabbits, deer, and many types of woodland fowl, as it is much safer to hunt in these woods than in the Vandorenial Forest, Additionally, many settlements in the northern part of the western continent request hunters to specifically take part in these activities, not only for food but also to stop animal populations from growing out of control.
Many have travelled through these woods for many purposes, but there are still a few things unknown about them and plenty to explore. Those at Faer Or believe that there is still rare flora to be discovered inside of it, though due to its large size, it will be years before everything is officially discovered.
