Odite

Aye, I have sinned in the eyes of man and deity. I have broken the peace brokered with the creator, and I have earned my punishments. Yet too may Odite be merciful upon me, as I take the Trial of Flesh, and cleanse my spirit of my darkness. - The Prayer of the Convicted before the Trial of Flesh   The thin, kind-faced old man who is said to wander within the dungeons and stalks of the convicted. Odite is a favorite deity of the repentant and is said to judge those who repent of their crimes by The Trials of the Flesh. Through him there are those who otherwise would’ve been sentenced to death or life in prison that are free men.   Still, many fail the Trial of the Flesh, or else refuse to repent of their crimes, and so are forever lost to their sins. Odite is often called the deity of forgiveness by the common people. When someone is sentenced to death for their crimes, they are often visited by a priest of Odite.
