The Moonstars are Established

The Riverwoods reward the Moonstars with their own family and land.

In 2642 Wilhelm Moonstar was a young man of 16. King Earnest Riverwood, age 22, had always treated the young Moonstar as something of a surrogate brother, and often valued his input. Both boys were eager for a fight, ready to prove themselves. Their bodies had been hardened on training fields and so Earnest called for Wilhelm to help him to avenge his father and brother deaths, which the king blamed on the  Allistars. Wilhelm went to him without hesitation.   The battle lasted three weeks, but on the tenth day of the final winter month, the Allistars lay dead, and Earnest's vengeance was complete. As a gift for Wilhelm’s bravery and friendship, King Earnest gifted him the Dark Swamps and made him a lord, bringing the Moonstar family to a height it had never known.   Wilhelm is a good-hearted and determined man, if a bit straightforward and simple at times. His family has spread rapidly as the demand for more and more work has called for people he can trust throughout his lands. His wife, Pansy, has also asked that the girls in their family be given flower names, in the hope that the world will think of them as beautiful, despite coming from the Dark Swamps.   He believes in loyalty, fairness, and honesty almost to a fault, but is unshakable.
