The formation and lineage of the Doxy Family

Lord Shayne was established as the leader by King Peter in 2532 when Tera'tun was united. Having been told about the legendary treasure of Altis since he was a young boy, Lord Shayne spent the entirety of his life searching the seas for it. No one expected he would actually succeed in his mad venture, and yet he found it only two years before they were formalized as a family. No one could believe it, or challenge his place as a lord. He immediately put work into several ships and declared that mysteries of the sea would forever belong to House Doxy, and few have dared to challenge the claim since. He married a lass, Jenna shortly after finding his treasure and she bore a lone child: Gregor.   Shayne died in 2582 when his hunting ship set sail and sank beneath the waves.   A boy of only ten, Lord Gregor knew only one tale of heroism and bravery: his father’s. His mother squandered much of the family riches on making the family an illustrious power, but Gregor spent his Lordship building his home city and learning all the myths of the sea that he could. He married his wife, Charlisa and almost bankrupt the family searching for proof of the thessalhydra beneath the waves. However, he did eventually find the beast and was awarded handsomely for its existence.   Rodrick took over his family's seat in 2643. Given that his older brother, Stannis had driven himself mad and broke searching for the sirens he swore were real, Rodrick overtook the family and helped both the town and his house become true explorers, often working with House Collwell when they could to search the very limits of the ocean. He has not yet married, but loves his two nephews and niece dearly.
