The Diadochi Alliance

The Diadochi Kingdoms were the kingdoms that formed after Elizabeth the Great's generals (called Diadochi) split her empire following her death, with the main ones being Ptolemaic Idgypt, Macedon, Thrace, the Seleucid Empire, and the Antigonid Kingdom. They would dominate the western Medierra for centuries until the expansions of the Roman Republic would later consume them.   A few years after Idgypt rebelled against the Romans, the other Diadochi kingdoms rebelled, forming what would be called the Diadochi Alliance*. They would find much success against the Romans, and continue to fight them off and on for centuries. While they have been at peace with the Romans for nearly a century and a half, they have recently reformed and declared war on their old enemy once again.   The Diadochi Alliance has been disbanded and reformed various times throughout the centuries, and when not allied the kingdoms often squabble and fight each other.   *While Idgypt was invited into the alliance, they never joined and instead pushed towards after isolationism.
