Funerary and Memorial customs
Loved ones are buried in the ground and a celebration of their life takes place. A tree sapling is typically planted above the body to symbolise the cycle of life and the return to the ground. Trees may be replaced with other plants such as bushes but trees are most common.
Burial trees shouldn't be cut down until at least sixty-seven years have passed.
Common Taboos
Any kind of discrimination, cutting down a burial tree prematurely.
