Graduation: Title of Mage.
Continued Studies
After completing their seven years of initial studies, students may graduate as Mages. They may choose to enroll in one of the Towers of Wizardry, choosing a focus and pursuing an advanced degree. They may also apply for an apprenticeship, working directly with a Master at the academy. Either of these paths may allow them to receive the title of
Magus.
To receive the title of
Master, a Magus must create a new spell, magic item, or major contribution in their field of specialty, then submit their findings to the High Circle. The High Circle may accept the applicant as a Master and bestow upon them the recognition their work deserves, as well as access to even more restricted information and resources.
The title of
Archmage is reserved for those who have mastered the Third Circle of magic. If you have to ask if you're an archmage, you're not an archmage.
