Mortal World
When the Elemental Sovereigns divided the Dawn World into Four Kingdoms, they set one world as the anchor at its heart. The Mortal World would be formed mostly of the elements themselves, illuminated by the last light of Dawn emanating from the Otherworld, its roots set in the raw elemental wells of the Underworld, and the Sky Kingdom set between the land and the Firmament far above. This would be the place of beasts and all manner of things that grow.
Most adventures and tales of Gloriana occur within this land. It is here that the Northern Kingdoms of Galadron, Vercinget and Lyteri wage war, here that the great plains of Emankorrak and the city of Masru are found, here that Sin Al-Gawwar, Sovereign of Fire, rules with a firm hand over the brass city of Sharan. The Endless Ocean separates the four continents of the Mortal Kingdom, and Tamreon, the Torn Land, lies at its heart.
The Mortal Kingdom most resembles the world in which you yourself live, but it is filled with magic, terrible creatures, and paths that lead to the rest of the Four Kingdoms.
Geography
The world of Anacra is divided into four continents, each of which was governed or influenced by one of the four Elemental Sovereigns. Girru, to the North-East, is where Vindur's power is greatest, and where the Northern Kingdoms of Galadron, Lyteri, and Vercinget can be found, along with the great dragon clans of Okarthel, the valleys of Taranat, the Great Frozen Wilds and the Caonach Vale of the mysterious wood elves.
Isatum lies to the South-East, and was chosen by Sin Al-Gawwar, Sovereign of Fire. Great sweeping deserts and jungles cover Isatum, including the wasted ruins of Ioth, the Solar Empires of Brontha, the brass citadel of Sharan and the legendary city of Aberatum, the Pearl in the World's Crown.
Between these lands and the western continents lies the Endless Ocean, a vast expanse of water and magical storms. No ship in living memory has passed across the endless ocean, for it is the dwelling place of Li-Ban, Sovereign of the Seas, whose mercurial will decides the fate of any would-be sailors.
Somewhere in this ocean lie the torn lands of Tamreon, a great mass of earth ripped from the land by Li-Ban when the One Flesh descended to Anacra to feast on the Blood of Life. Li-Ban tore the land mass from its roots and smashed The One Flesh from the sky, crushing it under the ocean. Little is known of this new continent, born of violence and desperation.
To the distant north-west lie the lands of Badura, consecrated to Li-Ban, but the Water Sovereign cares little for matters of dry land and mostly ignores their earthly dominion. Here, the noble houses of Kast invoke their ancestral spirits to challenge each other for honor and power, the Oni plot to steal the fortunes of mortals, and the fierce tribes of the Lagu raid and pillage up and down the Crimson Coast.
Finally, to the South-West, Kiaz was once holy to Erecura, Sovereign of Stone, but it was here that Uzhul the Destroyer slew the goddess with a blade forged from her own blood. It is wracked with warfare between Erecura's children, the Fire Giants and the grieving Dwarves.
