Extinction
Drawn to the smell of Erecura's Blood, the One Flesh falls from the Hungry Dark. Before it can feast upon the Life Blood, Li-Ban, Sovereign of the Seas, rips a great chunk of the earth from its roots and smites the One Flesh to the bottom of the sea.
With the firmament weakened by Erecura’s death, beings of the Hungry Dark arrive once more. A terrible corruption, the One Flesh, falls from the sky, thirsting for the Wells of Blood beneath the earth’s crust. Before it can land and feed, Li-Ban rips up a chunk of the Eastern Continent and slams the aberration into the ocean. She crushes it beneath the land mass, which becomes the continent of Tamreon, and descends through it to wrestle with the horror. Their battle will last for centuries. Realta, daughter of Vindur and Li-Ban, sets the Stars as watchers along the edges of the firmament to ensure this can never happen again. This angers Vindur, who turns against his daughter. In defiance, Realta creates a powerful magical ritual, the Prophecy of the New Day, that will change Humans into new Stars, to replace those that perish in the line of duty. In retaliation, Vindur unleashes war upon humanity. His wrath falls on the Ten Tribes of Okarthel, a land east of Sin’s great empire of Sharan.
