Aistanar is a moderate water world and the fourth terrestrial planet in the Elpis system. It is the home of the Boshaari Council and Boshaari people. Those who dwell here are called ara'balai.   Aistanar is covered in gentle oceans that give way, near the coast, to shallow mangroves teem with life whilst the largest continent, Eytrope, is being actively developed. Beyond the seas, seasteads, fusion plants and islands are also being built. Across the oceans one can often spot scattered light blue fungi and coral. Long rugose creatures slither between. Gossamer-thin sheets of plant matter float in the sky.   The capital and largest city of Aistanar is New Eldelyn, which occupies the site of seven rolling hills, each home to an arcology. The streets of this city are narrow, crooked and often confusing; often, modular habs and faux-ancient structures cohabit and merge into each other, yet the organized chaos of this place blends seamlessly into weaving fields and wineyards. Other settlements on further islands and continents such as the Meroyp Frontier are linked by gravshuttles and sea-going vessels.       A key feature of most settlements is their circular arrangement around a Yanna (shrine) as well as a civic building representing the authority of the Council - at least nominally, for different Great Houses lay claim to vast and sometimes conflicting sections of land, leading to skirmishes and legal battles in the many equally mutually-infringing courts of New Eldelyn.   The economy of Aistanar is heavily centered around food and agricultural byproducts. Indeed, Aistanar can be easily said to feed the rest of Tau Elpis. Foodstuffs and live soil are shipped from this world, which, along with a healthy magitek industry, has cemented the Boshaari Council's position as a trade power in Tau Elpis - one perhaps less profitable than the dazzling heights of Coalition budget sheets, but far more steady and reliable.   Beyond the frontier, Aistanar features a wide variety of climates, ice caps, mountains and even a few deserts. All are known to few but some hardy pioneers and prospectors (and even an arcane facility that belongs to the chrome-healers of theĀ  Circle though the Council aims to install military bases across the surface by the 160th Cycle.
