Atropos is a small, miserable, inhospitable world by all accounts. A brown mud-like substance and small rivulets cover the land. Blue fungi colonies grow in elaborate mazes to avoid touching one another, and they form a symbiotic relationship with tiny many-colored worms that use a chittering sound to communicate.
Much of the planet is heavily radioactive, though some corporations seek to eventually use Atropos for its deposits of uranium.
