Valiana Li is a
Boshaari spellweaverand wand collector. She is an eccentric person known to many ara'balai for her unorthodox use of portals to move items within her own home, the crooked spire and self-dubbed "beacon of tidyness" which overlooks the settlement of
Mana Aethel. As a child, her gift with arcane was particularly noticed by her peers. However, her family was sent to settle the moon
Vala, and she was never given the chance to attend an academy on
Aistanar. She refused to let that cloud her dreams, and using holotapes, she practiced her skills with uncanny discipline in the frozen wastes of her wretched world.
Over time, she put her magic to good use, especially conjuration and evokation; it is her arcane fire which keeps the boilers of several Boshaari settlements on the planet in good condition. It is a little unclear how Valiana Li became the First Citizen of Mana Aethel. Some attribute it to her constant maintenance of the steam boilers which keep the city warm, whilst others have warmed up to her likable and genuinely charismatic personality. Either way, she keeps the small settlement going from atop the crooked workshop which overlooks the settlement. She likes to hold town meetings in the strangely tidy wand and tech shop that serves as the entrance to the iconic spire.
