Very little is known about
Vi Tulsa other than her status as the leader and organizer of the loose organization
Vi's Fixmen. Some people, including Fixmen, do not believe her to be a real person; rather, they suspect she is a personification of the AI which has deployed them and kept their organization thriving for cycles. She has claimed that she used to run a small hydroponics xeno-facility located somewhere within the
Wayward Belt.
As the story goes, she has been using an AI core to cobble together a loose fleet of exiles to "take the fight to the system". Her alliance of exiles and rebels is small, but controls many of the key xeno-facilities of the Wayward Belt, turning that area of space into something of a haven for crooks of all sorts across the system.
The enigmatic elf claims that she has lost something of immense value during her banishment, and that it has motivated her in running the Fixmen for many years. Whilst her organization is a general thrill-seeking alliance of pirates and rebels, she has always claimed that she seeks a higher motive in federating the Belt against the Boshaari who forced them into exile and banishment. She sees the Belt as a sanctuary for radical new thinkers who dare to use the opportunity of a fresh galactic start to break ranks with the norm. She is also known to resent the Coalition for their treatment of the Zaalan minority, and openly welcomes the latter into her ranks, even though the Fixmen often act on behalf of corporate Hiderid interests. She has voiced her opposition to the Senate, but also to Coalition authorities that have encroached into the system. As she has effectively taken control of the Belt, which the Boshaari see as theirs, she is high on the list of most wanted criminals of both Senate and Coalition authorities.
