Zerasius' Courtyard

Zerasius' Courtyard is a room within The Mind Palace.
The courtyard is a large open area covered with plant growth. A winding rock-candy path leads from the north doorway to the south, passing by the trunk of a colossal tree that stretches up towards the sky, its branches passing...beyond the blue of the sky itself?
The growth is wild, including thick moss and soft grasses underfoot; tangled flowers and vines drape over the large trunk of a dead tree that has been colonized by bright mushrooms. Younger trees grow up around it, catching what sunlight they can. Around the other side of the enormous center tree, there is an open field with high grass and wildflowers, and then a flat stone large enough to stretch out.
There is a crack in the trunk of the huge tree, shrouded by the flaps of a tent. And inside, a tent, tucked securely in the safety that the trunk offers. It is roomy enough here to stand up, to turn around, but not any roomier than that. A cloth and leather weapon rack, unrolled, dangles along one wall, holding javelins and spears, and a pack rests against it on the ground. Another rack on the next wall holds supplies, canteen, tools. A practical setup. There is space for a fire in front of the tree, a little clearing.
