Conclave of the Moons

Rulers of the geshtai, the Conclave is composed of the fifty most powerful geshtai chieftains.

When the Sister-Moons created Anathra they invited the geshtai - divine spirits - to become the world's guides and protectors. The most powerful of the geshtai became the Old Gods, with Brea, Mother of All arriving first and becoming the geshtai of the world itself.
After the gods, lesser spirits found their way to Anathra. These early geshtai warred with each other and with the gods. To prevent Anathra's destruction in their divine war, the Sister-Moons intervened. Ringed Matija and her two sisters approached the gods and the geshtai and enforced a cease-fire. At the negotiations which followed, the divinities agreed to put aside their differences for the good of their world. While the gods were largely left to their own devices, a council of the lesser geshtai was founded. Called the Conclave of the Moons, it consists of fifty geshtai cheiftains, chosen by the Sister-Moons for their strength, wisdom, and/or following. The Conclave are the most powerful leaders of the geshtai and together can enforce any celestial laws they create.
The goddess Brea, Mother of All, geshtai of the world presides over the Conclave, casting a vote only to break a tie.
It is rumored that the Conclave meets in a palace built on the moon Tiwaz.
