Fey Gods

Widely worshipped in fey enclaves in the Kingdom of Cernoa and the Carentan Forest, worshippers of the fey gods are also found in the larger world.

Almost a million years ago, a rift to the Feywild opened somewhere in what is now the Sylvan Kingdom of Cernoa. No ones knows how long the rift was open, but it was long enough for thousands of fey - possibly tens of thousands - to launch expeditions or simply wander through. They settled and explored what was to them a brand new world. It is known that at least a dozen Archfey also made the journey through the rift, though it is said only eight still survive.   These thousands of fey each brought with them their devotion or fealty to various gods of the Feywild. Years turned to centuries, which turned to hundreds of millennis, and the memory of some fey gods faded, others were forgotten completely as their last disciples died out. As gods were forgotten, their presence receded from Ancathra, returning to wherever gods go to die and be reborn.   Now, more than eight hundred thousand years after the first fey discovered Ancathra, only four gods of the Feywild are still commonly  worshipped, along with a few assorted minor or regional fey gods. They are: Ashia the TravelerDhasa the Seer, Icthion the Pursuer, and Vesenra of the Wood.   Worshippers of these four fey gods can be found anywhere in the world. The most followers of the fey pantheon are found in the Sylvan Kingdom of Cernoa, as well as many parts of the inner Carentan Forest.
