Temsin the Fifth Sister, Queen of All Stars

Goddess of change, death, magic, prophecy and the stars.

Temsin is one of the five elemental sisters, along with Adana (water), Chan (earth), Ea (air), and Maeslyn (fire). Unlike her sisters, who embody physical elements, Temsin is the incarnation of the things which weave them together: change, magic, time and other phenomena. The Fifth Sister is also a goddess of prophecy, represented by the movements of the stars. Because of this, she is also worshipped by astrologers, astronomers, and mathematicians. Like the priesthoods of the other elemental sisters, Temsinian clerics are largely organized as a sect of the Disciples of the Five Sisters. Independent clerics and paladins of Temsin, however are also found - more often than those of the other sisters. Some followers of Temsin think it sacriligous to use her name, insisting on calling her by one of her titles, most commonly simpy "The Fifth Sister" or "The Queen of All Stars." In the stories, Temsin is usually secretive, solitary, and neither benevolent or malevolent. She often arrives in the nick of time to resolve a crisis, then disappears. She is the most mysterious of all the Anathran gods.
