Dariy Martikov is the head of the Martikov family, and he oversees The Wizard of the Wines vineyard and winery. He is an extremely suspicious and jaded old man who doesn't trust anyone outside of his family (and he barely trusts them.) It takes a great deal to earn his trust, and even more to earn his respect. He has no patience for selfish or self-centered heroes, and openly despises those who had see others as disposable or expendable.
Since the death of his wife, Dariy has been a far colder man. His harsh outlook was further reinforced by the supposed negligence of his son, Ivan ending in the loss of one of the vineyard's precious gems.
