Annual Ceremony of Litha

Every year, between the 19 and 22 of June, is the Height of Litha/Midsummer in the northern hemisphere. Most humans normally call June 21st the day of Litha, most likely due to us calling the 21st of December Yule. On Litha, Ancient Power is at its' strongest and some must be given back to further preserve it. It is up to the Collective Congress of Ancient Power and later, the Legendary Guardians of Childhood. To do this, they gather at The North Pole to place Magic back into the Ley Lines and the Mystical Monuments. It is only later that magic leaves and the location moves a bit. This entire ceremony is in Latin. For milennia, Mother Nature or Father Time began it.

EXECUTION

Every year, Magic must be given back to the Earth. Even Merlin had to do a ritual to give back some of his power. And as all powerful wizards/mages have to do this, they normally do this at some plasce of power/Mystical Monument. Merlin tended to this at Stonehenge.   The only people who truly had to do this are the Legendary Guardians of Childhood. But many powerful mages/sorcerers/wizards and witches also do this to maintain blance and peace with spirits and the Ley Lines.   On the day, all Guardians go up to Christmastide Valley and gather around Earth's North Pole. They do move to Mystical Pole Circle-Ancient Power Governmental Headquarters eventually. They have a secret ritual which involves them praising Magic.   It, in its' entirety, signifies that someone acknowledges that it is better to thank and give back some to ensure it does contiune.

COMPONENTS AND TOOLS

While many items are not used in this ritual, there are two sets. The first being Staff of Christmas Spirit I and Amulet. The second being Merlin’s Ancient Magic Staff.

PARTICIPANTS & KEY ROLES

Those who attend the ceremony are the Collective Congress of Ancient Power. It is only later when only half (The Guardians of Childhood) attend this ceremony. The major participators are Mother Nature and Father Time who are co-officiants and master of ceremonies.
