Anarium Mines

The mines were the only resource that Anarium had to offer before its abandonment following The Cannibals of Anarium incident. This was the best source of Myrillium in the Afterdark and was enough to make Anarium prosper. After The Purple Worm Incident in 1355 a rift opened in the bottom of the mine leading to an area made of pure myrillium. Unfortunately this rift caused myrillium crystals to grow out of control filling the mine with animated hostile creatures and taking over the bodies of the deceased miners who were working in the mines when the mine collapsed. Our heroes were able to defeat the creatures in both the mine and the rift, closing the rift and stopping or slowing the spread of the Crystal Plague.
