Mordai Academy (Waterdeep)

The Mordai Academy in Waterdeep lies right next to the Market in the Castle Ward. A high grey wall with a large oaken door marks the entrace. Painted on the door is a symbol of 8 colored orbs (red, blue, green, yellow, purple, black and white) in a circular pattern, circumscribed by a blue circle. Behind the door is a large square of flagstones, with a white fountain in the middle, surrounded by some hedges and stone benches. On top of the fountain stands an illusion of a statue, that cycles through the Blackstaff of Waterdeep througout the ages. The square is surrounded by buildings of the Mordai Academy itself. To the left are the student quarters and facilities, a large, marble white building whith blue windows. This building continues perpendicular to it, only after the angle it is supported by an array of blue columns. This part of the Academy houses lecture halls and classes. Located between the columns under the building are multiple fenced fields for magic practice or duels. On the face of this building hang 2 large white flags with the symbol of the Academy displayed on them. Perpendicular again to this building is another building, again supported on the ground, which contains the offices of the wizards and professors of the Academy. Right next to this building is a thick, short stone tower with a wooden roof. This tower contains a small library and a workshop/labratory. The square continues behind the Mordai Academy to the Font of Knowledge, a large tower dedicated to Oghma.
