Fighter's Guild of Acarius
Whether you're a mercenary, soldier, adventurer or city guard - chances are that you've been to a Fighter's Guild outpost. Often considered to be simple sparring or training arenas, many forget the true purpose of the Fighter's Guild; to afford the common citizen the ability to defend themselves and their home should the need arise.
Structure
The guild is structured in the loosest fashion imaginable, with private owners contacting the Crown to apply to operate a guild location. The request, if approved, then sees the person granted a small sum to retrofit a property within a given timeframe. After two years, the site is audited and the title of "Guild Representative" is granted.
From that point, monthly salaries are paid out by the Crown to these representatives, and in return half of the price of membership at the new guild location is funneled directly into the Kingdom.
Culture
The culture found within the Fighter's Guild changes depending on location. Members in Acaron are often honorable, noble, and directly relate their structure to the military. By contrast, the guild hall in Solemnwood focuses primarily on fighting for sport.
